IFS Service Management Lead
We are partnering with a well-established organisation in Australia that is seeking an experienced IFS Service Management Lead to take ownership of its IFS Service Management environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior IFS professional to become the internal subject matter expert, leading the optimisation and strategic development of the organisation’s Service Management capabilities. You will play a key role in enhancing field service operations, improving system utilisation, and ensuring the platform supports operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term business growth.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, governance, and continuous improvement of the IFS Service Management solution.
- Act as the primary internal expert and point of contact for all IFS Service Management-related matters.
- Partner with Field Service, Operations, Finance, and other business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into scalable and effective IFS solutions.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver system enhancements, upgrades, and optimisation initiatives.
- Drive best-practice adoption of IFS Service Management functionality across the organisation.
- Optimise field service processes, including work orders, scheduling, dispatch, mobile workforce enablement, and service workflows.
- Collaborate with technical teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to end users to maximise system adoption and performance.
- Ensure the Service Management platform aligns with operational objectives and future business strategy.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with IFS Service Management, preferably within IFS Cloud.
- Previous experience in a senior IFS Service Management role, such as Lead, Functional Lead, Solution Owner, or Senior Consultant.
- Strong understanding of field service operations, including work orders, scheduling, dispatch, service contracts, and mobile workforce management.
- Experience within asset-intensive industries such as engineering, manufacturing, utilities, energy, mining, or industrial services.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working within complex, multi-site, or enterprise environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
