IFS Solution Architect 

Location: Remote (with onsite presence during UAT and Go-Live as required)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IFS Solution Architect – Supply Chain to lead solution design and architecture across complex IFS ERP implementations and optimisation programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business requirements into scalable, best-practice IFS solutions while ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture.

This role requires strong functional expertise across IFS Supply Chain modules, combined with excellent stakeholder engagement and solution leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for IFS ERP implementations, upgrades, and rollouts with a focus on Supply Chain

• Design IFS solutions that align business processes with standard system capabilities

• Act as the primary architectural authority across Supply Chain workstreams

• Run workshops with senior stakeholders to capture, challenge, and refine requirements

• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical solution designs

• Provide guidance to functional consultants and developers throughout project phases

• Ensure solutions follow IFS best practice and minimise unnecessary customisation

• Support integration design with third-party systems where required

• Assist with data migration planning, testing strategy, and go-live readiness

• Provide post-go-live support and optimisation recommendations

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an IFS Solution Architect or Senior IFS Functional Consultant

• Strong functional knowledge across IFS Supply Chain modules

• Experience delivering full lifecycle IFS implementations

• Ability to design solutions across multiple modules and business areas

• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills

• Confident engaging with senior business and IT stakeholders

• Excellent documentation and solution design capability

• Strong ability to balance business requirements with system constraints

Core IFS Supply Chain Modules

Strong hands-on experience across several of the following:

• Inventory Management

• Procurement

• Order Management

• Supply Chain Planning

• Demand Planning

• Warehouse Management

• Manufacturing or MRP (desirable)

Nice to Have

• Experience across multiple IFS versions

• Exposure to integrations, reporting, or IFS extensions

• Consulting or partner background

• Experience working in complex or multi-site environments
